General Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7): GAD-7 Score
The GAD-7 is a 7-item questionnaire used to assess the severity of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) in adults. The score is based on the responses to seven questions about the frequency of common anxiety symptoms over the past two weeks.

Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A) Survey: To what extent is the Anxious Mood present?
This survey contains a list of phrases that describe certain feelings that people have. Participants are asked to rate the extent to which the specified conditions are present, selecting one of five responses for each of the fourteen questions. The aim of the survey is to evaluate the severity of anxiety symptoms.

A Note from the Protocol Team
Why I created this challenge: The coalescence of digital and physical interventions for mental health, such as the Reveri hypnosis app and golf, represents a promising frontier. Research indicates hypnosis can reduce anxiety, and golf is often revered for its calming effects. Social media and anecdotal evidence suggest many find relief in these activities. This study aims to rigorously evaluate their combined impact on anxiety, measured by GAD-7 and HAM-A, to validate or challenge these claims. It's crucial to establish evidence-based practices in mental wellness.
My Objective for You: To explore whether daily use of the Reveri app coupled with regular golf can significantly lower your anxiety levels, offering a novel, enjoyable approach to mental wellness.
Aims & Objectives: This challenge aims to systematically assess the effects of the Reveri hypnosis app alongside golf on anxiety levels. Our objective is to measure changes in GAD-7 and HAM-A scores, providing evidence of efficacy for these popular interventions.
Significance & Impact: This study is significant as it merges technology with traditional sport to tackle anxiety, a prevalent mental health issue. Expected outcomes include validated, scalable interventions for anxiety reduction. While limitations include a lack of direct measurement tools within golf sessions, the findings could revolutionize approaches to mental health in sports and digital wellness spaces.
