Why I created this challenge: Amidst the rising concerns about poor sleep quality and its detrimental effects on health, emerging research and social media narratives suggest that natural morning sunlight can significantly enhance circadian alignment and sleep. Academic studies corroborate with personal testimonies claiming improved alertness and mood. This challenge, leveraging simple yet potentially transformative exposure to morning sunlight, aims to rigorously evaluate its impact on sleep and wellbeing. It's crucial to understand and harness these natural influences for public health.

My Objective for You: Over 30 days, you will engage in morning sunlight exposure, aiming to improve your sleep quality and overall wellbeing. This protocol is designed to measure changes scientifically using validated tools, while offering you a potentially life-enhancing experience.

Aims & Objectives: The primary aim is to determine the effects of daily morning sunlight exposure on sleep quality, using the PROMIS Sleep Disturbance Scale. Secondary objectives include assessing changes in mental wellbeing and anxiety levels through the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale and Beck Anxiety Inventory.

Significance & Impact: This challenge could significantly impact public health by providing a low-cost, accessible intervention for improving sleep quality and mental health. Expected outcomes include better sleep, reduced anxiety, and enhanced wellbeing, with the potential to reshape morning routines globally. Limitations include variability in sunlight exposure and participant adherence.
